The senior class is busy getting ready for graduation. I interviewed Jamie, Casey and Grant from the senior class. I asked seniors if they are excited about graduation and this is what they had to say.

Chris is going to Las Vegas for spring break. He is flying to Las Vegas with his mom and dad. Chris is excited to walk on the strip and go to the casino! Chris chose Las Vegas because he has never been there.

 Brian Webber is going to the nation’s capitol in Washington DC for spring break. He is flying there with his mom and dad. Brian is excited to do some sight seeing.

Carrie Sampson is going to New Brighton to visit her grandparents for spring break. Only Carrie is going to see her grandparents and she plans on spending time doing beads and watching TV with her family.

Corrie is going to Grand Slam for spring break. She is going with her mom and they are going to play mini golf. Corrie is looking forward to going to Grand Slam because she has not been there in a long time.

Joseph is going to Cancun with his friend Mike for spring break. Joseph is excited to party with his friend and enjoy the nice weather.

Kelli is going to Virginia Beach for spring break. Kelli is flying there with her sister because her sister needed someone to go with. Kelli is looking forward for a relaxing vacation.

Brianna is going to Puerto Rico for spring break. She is going there with her sister. They are going swimming, hiking, dancing, and scuba diving. Brianna and her sister are going to Puerto Rico to have fun in the sun.

Saint Patrick’s Day is a day we all celebrate, but do we know who this saint was, or how he even became a saint? Well if you look back in history he was from a wealth family that lived in Britain. At the age of sixteen, however, he was captured during a raid and was sold into slavery in Ireland. In his time of slavery he devoted himself to the Christian religion. He escaped after six years and went back to Britain, where he studied in the monastery of Lerins.

He returned to Ireland when Palladius, the first missionary, died in the year 431 AD. Nobody had preached Christianity in Northern and Western Ireland, and that’s where he started, using the shamrock as a representation of the Trinity. Several tribal leaders put their trust into him and they became Christians, leading to more converts. Patrick founded more than three hundred churches and baptized more than one hundred twenty-thousand people.

On Saint Patrick’s Day (March l7th) we wear the shamrock, or the color green, to honor this saint for all of his achievements. Although no-one knows how the pinching of people who didn’t wear green started.

To my fellow transformer fans out there I have decided to tell you about the original transformers movie. The transformers had had movie on the cybertronian war. Megatron and Optimus prime had a fight to the death Optimus died and passed the autobot matrix of leadership to Ultra Magnus. At the same time Megatron was on the brink of death Starscream threw Megatron off the ship. Later Megatron ran into Unicron the planet sized monster unicorn gave Megatron a new body and troops to command then he was given the name Galvetron. Then Unicron ordered Galvetron to kill Ultra Magnus and destroy the Autobot matrix of leadership. Galvetron then went to chased Ultra Magnus across the galaxy trying to kill Ultra Magnus. But continued to fail. When he finally killed Ultra Magnus and gained possession of the matrix he then decided to use the matrix to turn Unicron into his slave. Hotrod went after Galvetron to regain possession of the matrix but ran into a horrible sight Unicron attacking Cybertron. He then went inside Unicron to find Galvetron and wound up getting in a fight with Galvetron. In the middle of the fight the matrix floated to Hotrod and transformed him into the new leader of the Autobots “Rodimus Prime”. He threw Galvetron across the room and used the full power of the matrix to destroy Unicron and saved there home planet from destruction.

On Saturday March 14 of 2009, the MN Boys hockey State Championship took place at the Excel Center in down town St. Paul. The winner of class A was Breck school and there standings were 21 wins 3 losses and 1 tie Then for class AA, Eden Prairie was the winner  There standing are 22 wins 3 losses and 0 ties.

 I went to my mom’s house on the weekend it was so very fun there.  Me and my mom went to go bowling in Brooklyn Center, we had a ball.  I also went to see my best dad down in Mississippi for Thanksgiving.
